Anyways, they told me to expect to spend 10-15k on the project when they were in my backyard taking measurements. Then after I called to confirm the meeting I was told the price would be no less than 35K. 35k for a covered patio? I confronted them about the price and they told me the materials were much more than they anticipated. I'm not sure how such a discrepancy could occur if they were professionals who do this type of work for a living.
They may do good work but watch your wallets!
I was worried from the beginning about this company when they repeatedly asked me if I had budgeted for the covered patio project. I told them I had it taken care of. Each contact with them they started with the same rhetoric - "what amount are you planning to spend on the project?" Each time I told them I was ready to move on the project. The initial meeting took 3 weeks. Way too long to visit my backyard and tell me the actual project with pricing would be divulged only after we rescheduled another meeting in their office in another 3 weeks. I waited till the day before the meeting and called to confirm the appointment. I was told that unfortunately my meeting would have to be rescheduled as the person whom I was to meet with was on their summer vacation. You would think knowing when their vacation was would have been considered before setting my appointment.
