Use to be the only rice house in town that my family & friends would eat. Have been a faithful customer since 1990s. Over the last 5 years the food has gradually gotten worse and worse. They don't have anything but onion soy sauce and whatever meat you choose in the fried rice. The crab ragoon aren't as good either. Sad that my favorite restaurant is going downhill.
Great food, friendly employees, great prices. Beef fried rice was perfectly seasoned, good amount of spiciness when ordered spicy, fresh, and the beef was good quality. Plenty of food for a great price.
Meh...send your wife/girlfriend for takeout. Been my Chinese fix several years. My chicken fried rice had little chicken until my wife started going to pick it up. After many years of supporting the business, tonight I had my wife ask if they had mustard. Amazingly they did, you have to ask specifically. If you just ask for a condiment for added zest apparently they don't know that they have horseradish mustard packs that have more heat than their house pepper sauce which is mild and often results in gastro issues the next morning. Steer clear of the house pepper sauce and stick to sterile plastic mustard packs. They also have the smallest eggrolls in the St Louis area so if egg rolls are important, find a nearby competitor. They'll probably throw in mustard packs and it won't take you years to discover they even have mustard. Maybe I'm just dumb, but we didn't even get cookies tonight in our carry out order.
It was our first time at Golden Dragon, we did pick up. When I arrived to pick up the food, I was greeted with GOOD customer service. However; the food was bland, #16 was one of the things we ordered, there was zero chicken in it
My husband and I go here every week! Its a quite friendly place the owner Truck always come out to make sure the customer are enjoying the and if not he will get you something different ! he is friendly and a hell of good person love him
